Welcome to my website and thank you for your interest in Perfect Captures Photography as your wedding photographer. A wedding can take months if not years to organise but there is only one chance to capture the images which you will treasure forever. Making sure you choose a qualified professional can ensure your images reflect the magic of the day.

It is my job as a photographer to produce captivating images of those truly wondrous occasions. Whether you want fine art, photojournalistic or artistic, I am capable of creating beautiful imagery through a number of styles and techniques.

Getting To Know You!

At Perfect Captures Photography we strive to make your day as stress free as possible. Our aim is about looking after the most important person. So the question is, what do you want when it comes to me (the photographer) and your images?

The first thing to consider is, do you have a date and venue or in the most basic terms, when and where? This will be the first question I ask and to be honest, the most important question in order to determine the availability as well as thorough research on the venue.

I offer a free no obligation consultation with every enquiry. The work of a true professional goes beyond just taking photos of the day. I pride myself with investing my time in getting to know my clients personally as well as allowing the client to get to know me. I may throw in questions like, how did you both meet, who, when and where did you propose and what do you love about each other? These little things all help me get to know the type of relationship you have and helps me add that personal touch to you images.

A sign of a good photographer means they get booked up months or years in advance and so it is good to get a consultation booked up as soon as possible plus I offer the price of the year you book if you are looking to book a year in advance. This is a price promise!

This is then followed up by a pre wedding consultation either at home, a chosen venue or the wedding venue itself in order to run through the day in greater detail as well as allowing me to know the layout of the venue and its surroundings.

I always ask for a copy of the itinerary as it allows me to carefully plan around you in order for the day to run smoothly and for me to not miss that important shot.

Love Is The Key!

I am extremely passionate about the images I create in camera as well as post production, recreating those moments of true happiness whether posed or natural. I would like to reassure you that I do my own post production and refuse to source out my photos for as they will not reflect the message that I want to convey within my images.

The Equipment and Investment

For me, having the best equipment allows me the confidence in bringing you the best of images. On a typical wedding, I carry three cameras around with me and for anyone who knows about cameras, they are all professional Canon bodies with with three different types of professional lenses, a wide angled lens, a semi zoom lens and a long zoom lens. You never know what you are going to need in that split second of capturing that moment and so I find it best to over prepare for any scenario and I do not have time to stand around changing lenses. I am constantly investing in my business which means having the best equipment which is regularly serviced as well as sufficient back up kits. The second most important investment is that I am fully covered with public liability insurance for that extra peace of mind.

Whilst I already have a bachelors degree in photography and work as a freelance press photographer, I regularly invest my time in further training. Each February I visit the prestigious Weddings, Portraiture, Photographers, Institute (WPPI) in Las Vegas attending seminars and workshops in order to allow me to grow and further my skills from fresh ideas and different approaches by industry leaders. To me, this is not a holiday but an intense 4 days of learning and networking.

Every wedding is unique with their own requirements.

Each package comes with either one or two photographers as well as:

A complimentary consultation to discuss your requirements and allows me to get to know you before the event of the day.
Full Image Rights. These are your images!
Constant updates throughout post-production in order to see your cherished memories before the finished product.
A beautiful USB stick with all of your finished images
A complementary gallery personal high-quality gallery for your images as a backup in case the worst can happen and lose your images.

The bronze package consists of the ceremony up to the first dance as well as all of the above.

Silver Package

The silver package consists of a full day coverage from bridal preparation to the first dance as well as all of the above.

Gold Package

The gold package consists of engagement shots, an engagement wall frame, a full day of coverage as well as all of the above.

Post Wedding Shoot

Need an excuse to put on your wedding dress and feel like a princess again? Is there somewhere special to you?

A post wedding photoshoot takes away the stress allowing for a more comfortable portrait session. These can be fun or elegant or even a little bit of both. From sun rise to sunset, if you have an idea, lets discuss it. Alternatively, it can be in a studio with the aid of studio lighting to create some classic and elegant images.
