The Importance of Colour Balance

First of all, I want to introduce the process of white balance and why it is so important that every photographer should know this process and why a cameras white balance should be calibrated.

The basic process of white balance is to remove the unrealistic colours so that the object which for instance is white in reality will appear white in your images.

A proper camera white balance takes into account the colour temperature of a light source which refers to the relative warmth or coolness of white light.

It is incredible the difference an expo disc can do to the colour balance on your camera creating more beautiful imagery with a lot less post production. This is a very important feature as you want to create the best imagery straight out of your camera. Just ask any photographer and they will agree that the best way is not the lazy way!
